MAGnum Opus is a charity event to raise money for iHuman Youth Society. iHuman Youth Society is an agency that supports youth in the Edmonton inner city. The artwork was created by Sean Paul Arceta. Sean is a local Edmonton Artist who expresses himself in a form of streetdance known as «B-Boying» or Breakdancing and works as a Registered Social Worker for iHuman Youth Society. iHuman is non-for-profit agency that supports youth in the inner city through the arts, and access to community supports.
This art show is dedicated to those who are into pop culture from the 80’s and 90’s. The artwork was inspired by a shoe from Back To The Future II colliding the sneaker with famous iconic scenes from film and television. Sean “Pharush” Paul Arceta the artist behind the art work fuses his love for a shoe and nostalgia.
