From Foundation to Flight
Danielle Murray loves to fly. Her love of arm balances, inversions and the refinement of those postures has been a grand adventure as a practitioner and a passionate mission as a teacher. Danielle is dedicated to giving her students tools and techniques to find their optimal expression of the postures, and build their hand balance practice over time. Safety, intelligence, anatomical knowledge, and breaking down the B.S (bus stops) is Danielle's method of choice. In this workshop we will specifically work with 4 arm balances. Expect a warm up flow followed by 4 posture breakdowns. Finishing with some balancing wrist care, and relaxation.
Crow and Straight Arm Crane (Bakasana)
One Foot Sage Pose(Koundinyasana)
8 Angle Pose (Astavakrasana)
Forearm Balance (Pincha Mayurasana)
This workshop aims to teach you the steps to build these postures from the ground up. So with that in mind please note that this workshop is appropriate for Yogis of all experience. Beginners: this will give a great foundation to build from. Experienced students and those already practicing full expression: this will offer you an opportunity to refine your movement, and correct any habits that have been formed or create a deeper understanding of the postures.
